Current XR Prototyping
Below is a collection of XR experiments and prototypes I am currently working on: Meta Quest 3, XREAL, and Brilliant Labs. The focus lately has been on Scene Understanding, and making use of advanced shaders, realistic virtual lighting, shadows and using scene elements to craft immersive experiences focused on customization and extreme interactivity.
Meta Quest 3 - Shaders and SoftBodies
Meta Quest 3 is a great wireless HMD, it has solid sn

Quest 3 - Advanced Lighting
Pushing the possibility of what graphics an XR2 Gen 2 HMD might be able to handle: this scene is running 8 dynamic lights, a mirror, lots of physics and complex refractive shaders.

Virtual Mirror Explorations
In VR mirrors are cool for avatars, but with MR, mirrors take on a new role and they can be married to real world mirrors (detectable via scene understanding). THis allows for using the mirror as a portal and matching 1:1
Object Interface
This demo makes use of both Ultraleap's hand tracking and mid-air haptic technologies. In the video is an incredibly accurate virtual trackball, which the user controls with their hand, they can feel the ball and operate it without looking because of the phased array mid-air haptics.

Hand Interface
The "Crystal Cave" demo designed by my team was our pinnacle location based entertainment (LBE) experience. It was a large installation shown at CES, IAAPA, AWE, and GDC. One of the best VR experiences ever made and truly showed what our tech was capable of.
AI Agents in XR Space
Working with VR content creator XStudio, my team at Ultraleap produced this hand tracking experience to show at the IAAPA Theme Park tradeshow and to prospective customers in the entertainment space.
