EEI Smart City Demo
Working with Notion Theory in DC, I led a team to develop a VR experience for Edison Electrical Institute's Smart City. This demo lets you ride in on a train, you can walk around and teleport on the train while riding in, then you are transported to various locations around the city while you learn and interact with many smart city features. You will get to plug in electric cars, see smart building lobbies in action, walk through the park with smart lighting, and even shoot hoops on a city ball court at night. Sean McBeth was responsible for the simulations for traffic, time of day and the energy grid, Daniel Webb did most of the modeling and texturing of the buildings and train, and I stitched it all together and provided the demo framework and interactions as well as pop-up menus, smart kiosks, plug-in car, teleporting, sound effects etc)
